I would give 10 stars if I could. The facility is nice, but the staff there are what makes the difference.

Sedaya Stewart (sales coordinator) and Rita Howarka (dir of sales) are Angels on Earth. Their attentiveness to our unique situation and many hurdles along the way were addressed with compassion, persistence, professionalism and dignity.

Sedaya and Rita are now “family” as far as I’m concerned, and I know that I can contact them at any time and get any issue resolved quickly and with energetic enthusiasm. I am the son of a resident and out of state so those points of contact are Important.

Most of the staff have great attitudes and willingness to help, shout-out to Buddy the Maintenance Supervisor and his staff, Executive chef Rashon, his staff in the cafe, Rex especially, the Activity Center, and the front desk concierge. All great people making it happen.

Getting Mom plugged in and routines established have been challenging at times, but I understand everyone’s needs are unique and it takes some time for staff, residents, and family to get adjusted. This would probably be the case anywhere.

We’re on week 2 of residency and so far all of our needs have been met or in the process of getting resolved. Thank you again Village Veranda staff for your continued commitment and dedication to our loved ones and their families.
